Back story
In advance of my wedding in Oslo, I wanted to provide guests with information to help them plan their visit (many of whom hadn't been to Oslo before). I wanted the guide to be practical, but also warm and playful and to reflect the celebratory nature of their visit.
I developed a printable guide, as well as versions for tablet and mobile as our guests had varied preferences in how they would prefer to interact with the guide. A series of illustrations were developed to add character, and also to reflect some of the most famous sights within Oslo (such as the Opera House and Munch Museum).
A colour palette of pinks was chosen to reflect the occasion and bring warmth to what could otherwise be fairly dry content. A bold and quirky headline typeface was paired with a clean and easy-to-read body type to ensure ease of legibility both on and offline.
